George Puraci

Vice President, Secretary

Since the founding of Charity Cup in 2000, George has faithfully served in international mission work in Romania, Moldova, Tanzania, Cuba, Mexico, and Honduras. He is committed to recruiting, preparing, and teaching new missionaries, believing that a vital part of the mission is the intentional discipleship and equipping of those who are sent.

George also helps raise prayer and financial support by visiting churches to preach, teach, and share the work of Charity Cup, while inviting others to participate in mission efforts firsthand. He looks forward to doing mission work and establishing Charity Cup communities in Australia and Asia, per the organization’s current vision.

Professionally, George has worked with high school students as a science teacher for 27 years and is deeply invested in mentoring young people, seeing their potential and helping them discover their calling both academically and spiritually.

He also serves as a pastor in his local church, which he has attended since 1984. George is married to Caitlin for the past 17 years, and together they are the parents of three children—Colbie (15), Ralphie (4), and Georgia (2).

George seeks to live out his calling joyfully and faithfully, no matter what sphere he is in.
